Fairly solid fight card from Colorado going down tonight! This is an earlier than usual event so works as an excellent precursor for those also interested in the Frampton fight which is expected 4amish I believe.

Looks like we are Paully Dless so time to get the ball rollin...

MAIN CARD 1AM - BT SPORT
    Valentina Shevchenko -v- Julianna Peña
    Donald Cerrone -v- Jorge Masvidal
    Andrei Arlovski -v- Francis Ngannou
    Alex Caceres -v- Jason Knight

PRELIMS 10PM - BT SPORT & UFC FIGHT PASS
    Nate Marquardt -v- Sam Alvey
    Raphael Assuncao -v- Aljamain Sterling
    Bobby Nash -v- Li Jinglang
Henrique da Silva -v- Jordan Johnson
Eric Spicely -v- Alessio Di Chirico
Marcos De Lima -v- Jeremy Kimball

EARLY PRELIMS 9PM - UFC FIGHT PASS
    Alexandre Pantoja -v- Eric Shelton
    Jason Gonzales -v- J.C. Cottrell

Big match up in the main event that surely must determine the next challenger to Amanda Nunes strap will it be a rematch with Shevchenko or Ultimate Fighter winner Peña, Cowboy Cerrone in the co-main faces Jorge Masvidal a match up that was batted around once Cowboy hit the Welterweight division Cerrone wants on the PPV in March so hes hoping to come out of this one with limited injury and the win naturally enough.

Francis Ngannou could be future champion impressive so far but squares up against his biggest name so far in veteran Andre Arlovski.

Main card starts with madman Jason Knight versus Alex Caceres which could be fight of the night contender with the high risk style of Knight it should be far from a snooze.

Elsewhere on the card features a number of familiar names including #4 vs #7 ranked fighters in the 135 division as Sterling takes on Assuncao both fighters looking to make amends after coming off the back of defeats.

Google images :D picked one of the first ones that suited my text somewhat ha

No Poll added either but with the lateness decided unwarranted.

UFC can fcuk right off. I checked their website a few times, last time on Wednesday night or possibly Thursday night to check what time this started at.

Every time it just had all the fights in 1 big block and said 8pm EST, ie. 1am GMT

Fcuking dickheads. All I've been doing is watching nonsense for the past while waiting for the early prelims to start at 8pm EST/ 1am GMT.

Just went onto the MMA thread to see if there was any chat and saw this.

If you go onto the UFC site now it has all the fights sectioned off into early prelims, prelims, main card, but that wasn't there even a couple of days ago.

    W@nkers.

Ah well other people have real problems I guess.

That was a really poor fight. No real winners there.

Sterling is awful how is he ranked near the top of the division, threw 13 punches there.

Had it 29-28 Sterling myself. Thought he took rds 1 & 3

Good round from Alvey there once he got going

Either all these fighters are just poor(they arent) or we have serious altitude issues here. They all look knackered after 1 round.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22 delgo_84

UFC not paying these guys enough to do their camp at altitude

Gotta love Jason Knight. Redneck as they come but puts on a great fight

Similar to Tito's finish there by Knight, very impressive from him.

    Complete fix

Good fight coming up next. The french lad has looked like a beast so far

Andrei Arlovski needs to consider calling it a day. He's been on the end of a few brutal (T)KO's. The streak he went on when he got back in the UFC was possibly the worst thing that could have happened him in terms of giving him misplaced belief in himself.

Wanker when I met him so for that fact alone hope hes sparked again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22 delgo_84

Wow. Dropped like a fly there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Arlovski's chin is just gone. I know they are big guys but everytime he gets tagged he is done. call it a day man.
