    Hi guys,

I've just started work experience as part of my course for primary teaching.

As part of some research, I'm looking for some feedback on the sector and the barriers people have faced while settling down in the job or searching for work.

Any feedback at all is greatly appreciated and if I'm in the wrong forum, my apologies.

    Thanks!

Probably not the right place for this but for primary school teachers there's a Marine-themed professional development course available in Galway.

I'm getting substitute work in schools, but principals have told me they won't give me enough time to do a dip because (and I quote): "I don't want to draw an inspector on the school".

Moved abroad to do primary teaching

Dunno if that'd be suitable but could answer some questions if you had them
