Cheap kits

Got these in Tescos clare hall , 6 x woodfordes for 6c , 3x wherry and 3x sundew 1 cent a 2 can kit is hard to beat , must be a mistake , i will definetly get back into brewing , have been away for a bit

Go back and demand that 2 cent back, you were done!

You will see bizarre prices like this in the bargain alerts threads, people have got tvs for next to nothing. I think there is something in their system where if an item is no longer supposed to be stocked they will put it at 1cent. But sometimes they just sell stuff off really cheap to get rid of the stock. I was getting fairly large selection boxes for €1.11, people were taking stacks of them, its pretty stupid as if they were twice the price they still would have been snapped up in no time.

Did you clear the shelf? Just been and nothing but the usual kits, nothing to suggest there was cheaper kits either.....where they on the right of the shop down near the TVs?

Sorry only seen now , yeah normal aisle , but moved to the end off . there was loads of coopers €11.88 i think , and cheaper brew buddy or something at a fiver ea wasnt sure about them , but i knew the woodfordes were normal price €26.95 so got what was left .still have Nov 2018 on them so not sure why reduced , end of line i guess.
