Age Category for Races

    A bit confused about age categories so if someone could please clarify.
    Say (I wish) I am 30 in September this year. What age category am I in for?
    1. Triathlon Ireland events
    2. Ironman events

    30-35, whatever age you are at the end of the calendar year determines your age group. Even if you turned 30 at a minute to midnight on 31st December, you'd still be in the 30-34 AG.
