Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How is that not a bad bench? Apart from Mane every other player has been slated in the LFc thread lately as a reason of dropping points or a loss.

Yes, they've been starting games and have been off form, but having them as options late in the game is better than having reserves there. They are full internationals.

Only reason I'd say the bench is strong is because they aint on the pitch at the start but apart from Mane id not Be confident of any of them changing a game.

Looks like vanholder was correct and Clyne just needed to man up.

You've not watched them enough so.

Willian is all huff and puff with very little end product from crossing or shooting.

Pedro is a better player, Wilian is just quicker on the break but slows down the play too often.

If im being honest, I'd probably drop Hazard but that wont happen, hes been sh*te for a few games now too.

Not that much recently, tbh. But from previous viewing, Pedro makes the wrong decisions a lot of the time. When he makes the right ones, his passing is often atrocious.
Willian has been very hard working and at his worst is far better than an averagely performing Pedro.

Pedro's gonna get a hat trick now, isn't he?

The Gerrard and Terry **** off is embarrassing.

    From the bench? Unlikely. :o

I genuinely thought it was one of the best pre match football features I can remember. Credit to BT where it's due, some really good stuff there.

Stat that I expect to be broken tonight, Chelsea have yet to leave in a goal once the clock goes passed the 80th minute.

    What's the team news

Ferdinand is coming at the "build a culture of success" thing in the wrong way in blaming Klopp. He says it's down to Klopp that Liverpool are out of both cups as he rested players but Ferdinand is relating that back to his history at Man Utd and at Man Utd it's all well and good resting players when you can bring in 30 million pound replacements for those players, Liverpool don't have that luxury and the first 11 obviously can't play every game. You can pinpoint issues with some of Klopp's tactical decisions in those games but putting it down to squad rotation simply isn't right.

Annoyed I'll be working for most of this game.

I'd take a draw now anyway and move on, we've only had 1 all year after all.

The best team available played in both legs of the semi final too if my memory is right.

Woodburn not even on bench. Can starts, would ahve liked Lallana back in midfield, with Woodburn in front 3.

Arsenal nailed on to win 3-2 or 4-3 now they are 0-2 down this early. Always happens.

You do realize we beat them away from home with Lallana in his best position, midfield.
    We are at home here.

I do like the way BT let us hear YNWA. Sky never do it. I think all fans can appreciate the wonderful anthem it is.

If Liverpool concede first you could see heads go down a bit given recent results as confidence must be low all round. Hopefully it won't be an issue though.

Firmino should of won a corner there.
Annoying he never takes full advantage of little things.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 960 ✭✭✭Crackle

Chelsea have started much as I expected/feared. Sitting back and giving the ball away cheaply.

LFC much the brighter team thus far.

I'd have said the opposite - more than most, I think he's one of the more sharp and aware players i've seen. Regularly capitalises on poor touches or misplaced passes from the opposition.

He should've gotten a foot on that one though.

    Oooo! Good effort Wij!

Slow start by CFC alright. Definitely standing off. Probably stay like this for a while. Making the odd break. If we get to 30 mins scoreless, we'll go up a gear.

Shocking free kick. Giving every ball away.
