Mods/Admins: Where is the Politics archive? (the old politics forum) It is not searchable in user post histories, neither is it searchable on Google.

Seems a rather big loss of the sites history, for that to be inaccessible.

In fairness, didn't you cite occasionally in the past that the old Irish government of the early 20's/30's or such, appeared fascist to you?

That doesn't detract from people overusing the term with regards to Trump and his administration (which I agree it's overused), but it does show that you've done the same thing you criticize others of here.

Shows up if you start searching "politics" in the search bar.

Oh ok - it appears to be restricted though, and e.g. not searchable/viewable unless you're logged in - that should probably be changed, as sometimes it's useful to search for past stuff using Google rather than Boards search.

I think it's safe to say that this thread has outlived it's usefulness now.

The tl;dr here is: you can post any opinion or counter opinion you like so long as you can express it in a respectful, reasoned way.

And that's not too much to ask, is it? If it is, you're on the wrong site.

    Update on Politics (Archive)
All but 20 or 30 threads were moved to the new forum, all that remains now is the old structure with the forum names as well as previously redirected markers from threads moved to other forums. So in terms of the big loss, there is no loss, threads were moved to the new Politics.
