Anybody watched this? Rating doesn't attract me (trailer even less :P) although I'll probably give it a go while on turbo :)

watched it a few weeks back so you don't have to. didn't watch trailer and was hoping for a documentary, but turned out to be a bland "little girl that could" affair. acting on par with a well-produced porno, but without the nudity to distract you from the aforementioned acting.

Showed the trailer to Mrs Rook. She initially thought it was a p!ss take until I convinced her it was real.

Now we've agreed that whenever she / anyone asks me why I do triathlons my response will be to gaze into middle distance and whisper "butterflies" .....

I watched it & thought it was absolutely superb, 5 stars the whole way. The character development was out sanding. The way Natalie faced so many obstacles & fought her demons to conquer her fears. The people she met along the way in the "tri community" were such an inspiration to not only her, but to me as a viewer. I felt genuinely moved.

Broken finger nails, having to stay 30mins late at work, the temptation to sit & binge on chocolate & netflix after work, nothing held her back from her life long goal. Oscar material all the way
