Don't think he's bashed anyone at any stage. He's deemed to have 'joined the clique' simply because he gets on with his fellow housemates and doesn't want to get into arguments.

He has bitched about Kim and Jedward with other clique members especially Coleen, he asked Jedward to apologise and make up with NicolE but never asked her to with them

I think its hard to know why he is in the clique or whether he wants to get into arguments or not given that he can hardly be bothered to speak most of the time, let alone move!

I don't think James C joined clique.He sits outside having a smokes on his own or with a few people if they are there.
He doesn't seem to go looking for others in that group to talk to.

It's not joining a clique if you just chat to people. He has chatted to Kim and Jedward but I think anyone would find it tough to get too much conversation out of either. Kim hits the roof at the slightest hint of something she doesn't like and Jedward very much live on Planet Jedward.

I like both Kim and Jed as housemates, they are more entertaining than the rest, but if I lived with them I think I'd want to kill them. James C for me has managed to stay level headed and courteous when others would have lost the plot.
