Which mountain bike?

    Looking to purchase a mountain bike and was looking at a couple on adverts. The Raleigh talus 29r, cube analog, specialised hard rock and a couple of Carreras. Any opinions on these? I've 270 to spend. Any advice appreciated

    Post the links. With secondhand bikes at that price, it's much more about the individual bike than what brand it is. Do you want to do actual mountain biking on it? You'd be hard pressed to get a capable one at that price, but you might get lucky with a good deal.

    This would be the job I'd say you'll get it within budget. A cracking entry level hard tail.

    FYI with the wear on the crank arm it wasn't bought new 5months ago.
