Think I'm going to defect to Masterchef at 9 seeing as it's the final and all.... see you over there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

There's more clay on Freya's face each week than there is on her table!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Keith sounded like he'd had enough of Coyt and her "I ran out of time/time got away on me excuses".

Clover played a blinder this week - those dolls were super-cute!

Loved Clovers dolls. Made both of them cry almost!

Well that's the first time this series I've watched it. Been away working every Thursday till 9, so no chance to see it, so I can't judge them. It's one of my favourite programmes on TV, not that I watch a lot.

Yer wan Cait was a bit full on, no harm to see her go.

I loved the dolls that won it. Really beautiful and a nice story behind it.

Anybody know where the past shows can be watched online.

    Anyone around this evening?

    Toilets  / :D

Haha, that teapot challenge is the best yet! :D:D

The display toilets they had are fantastic, must put that on a shortlist before I renovate the house.

A couple of the loos are going to be disastrous due to the size, you could wash the baby in a couple of them!

Loved Johnny Vegas appearing like that, never knew he was a potter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Jaysus, this is awfully complicated!!

Never mind bath the baby, I'd have a bath meself in Freya's

She needs a stepladder to work on it!

Haha, that challenge shut them all up!

Much easier to be given rules to keep within. This will be interesting!

Tears from the master ! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    And Keith's off again :D

They all went for sets of things, except for Freya?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

This last bit is going to be verrrrry interesting!!!

Christ, Ryan's looks like someone had a bad night the night before :eek:

I really hope the firing improves it!

It had to fit actual plumbing bits

    (I'm a bit behind)

    Awww Richard's is really lovely!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

    Love Richard's colours.

Freya's is messy, doesn't work either. Booby trapped as well! :D:pac::pac::pac:

Ryan's turtle head toilet is ironically named. Looks great.

That was funny. Keith is off again. Crying over Tina the toilet turtle!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Tina the Turtle Toilet was a winner. Inspired.

Except for the interior - euwww!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

Pity Freya is out, she's technically very good. I think it was the mechanics of the toilet that were lost on her. Ryan on the other hand had it studied down to a tee as to how the flow dynamics of a toilet works. Not the fairest test for all, you need to be mechanically minded.

So, who's around for the FINAL???

Who'd've thunk Clover would be in the last stages?!

So Richard NEEDS to win it? Ho hum.

Think I'm up for Clover overall.... I always love an underdog!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

O/T - is it just me or does Sara Cox have the strangest dress sense? Some of it is brilliant and lovely, tonight's is just.... odd......

I saw she did a 24-hour danceathon for Red Nose Day recently - fair dues to her, and God bless her energy! Have to say I'm a big fan of hers (based on this series alone - never heard her on the radio!)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

Clover's beehive lamp looks promising. Richard's sounds disappointing. It'll look like a mobile.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Clover's bees look more like eagles or bats or something!

Have to say I'm loving Ryan's design best at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Clover's domes look like footballs :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

    Poor old Richard. Cracked.

    Ryan looking best right now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Phwoarrrrrrr!!!

I remember him from Dancing on Ice - my other reality TV guilty pleasure - he was lovely, and hasn't deteriorated any :D

Even his bloody belly button is perfect. :(:o

Richard's is a lopsided mobile..... not for me, thanks.

Not that wild about Clover's either - bit busy for my taste.

Love, love the simplicity of Ryan's, they're very elegant.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

    I preferred Clover's idea, but Ryan's is better y a good distance.

    Aaannndd........
Ryan's won it. No wonder, he
was best today in every discipline.

    Great result. Well deserved.

I'm gonna miss this on a Thursday night

Thought the winner's piece was very boring tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,158 ✭✭✭stargazer 68

I had it recorded so was half an hour behind! Well deserved but I thought the project was quite dull compared to other weeks. Did appreciate the torso bit though:)

OMG it's back!! Starting on the 8th January.

Hurray, this might actually help get me through the rest of winter with my sanity intact! (Along with Dancing On Ice, obv!)

    Anyone else tuning in tonight???

Looking forward to this again..but without Sara Cox.....:(

I liked Melanie.... I never really warmed to Sara.

I enjoyed last nights episode. Although I do feel that they laboured alot of double meanings...one or two is fine after that it's try hard!

The young Cornwall guy is abit arrogant but that's youth. I don't think the older Cromwell guy will last too long.

Flea was very good. Though she has the potential to be a headmelt, early days could be proven wrong.

I loved Jacob's name stamp! His finished product was lovely I'd buy that design.

I think the person that went deserved to go. They didn't have the best run of it.

Love this show Kitt very lucky to stay.
The set from the girl from northern Ireland was gorgeous very classy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,101 ✭✭✭Max Headroom

    I'm in shock.....Keith..."12 tubes on a chess board..it's not good enough.."......and Kit goes through...wtf

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,065 ✭✭✭Princess Calla

Yeah Kit is annoying me, he's sending out an "I'm too good to be here vibe" while not being very good!

    Once again loved Jacob's set.

I liked Flea's, I loved the colours she used!

    Rosalind's was very good too.

Yeah, Northern Ireland girl has gone black and white two weeks in a row now, so hoping next week she does something different.

    Yeah Flea was the shells.

I'm hoping for Jacob in the final!

The judges look like they've had more than enough of Kit by now. That was quite the look Keith gave him when he said "you'll see me next week"!!

He is painful , way to cocky

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,812 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Well he's rightly fked now!!!

At least the others managed to get their pieces into the kiln in one piece, whatever about out of it.....

    I loved rainnas penguins!!

    Matt is annoying me.

Was disappointed in Jacob, definitely not his week.

    Delighted with who went!
