Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm sorry, but how the f**k can that happen. One pass from their own D and it cuts us open and leads to a goal. That's a joke, a complete f**king joke.

You must have watched us recently all teams need to do is let us have the ball defend deep and narrow and hit us on the break and we're toothless in attack

There was pundits (merson and the likes) who questioned Silva and why Hull didnt bring ni an English man, I'm sure that looks stupid now.

It was pure xenophobia from them, Silva is a good coach and if they stay up and back him, Hull might be decent next year.

Second goal was a simplistic ball from the other end of the field, it caught us out though, that says a lot .

2nd - 6th is very tight still, its impossible to call as everyone is dropping points against sides you'd expect them to batter.

Chelsea during our 13 game win put these sides away and thats the difference.

Ah you're here, Rayne Wooney and Quarryman should be along at some point no doubt! :D

Pity they had to come on and gloat. Was just about to comment on how different match threads were treated by opposing fans when a team concedes.

Sturridge stretching for it , then having a little moment to wonder is he ok.

Should have scored against Utd with a similar ball.

Well deserved win by Hull perfect game plan versus a Klopp team and well executed

Klopp not under pressure from fans yet but thats telling in itself. The difference in fan reaction between "Liverpool legend" Dalglish's reign and Klopps is interesting to say the least

Defended well but mistake after mistake gave them the goals.

It's embarrassing TBH, league over in February
Liverpool, arsenal, utd, city all ****e while Chelsea laugh away
It's all about who drops what as opposed to teams actually taking the initiative

Go ahead rival fans, get the digs in before it's locked, because they're fully warranted today.

    Klopp, the nearly man.

I suppose he needs time to get his team settled.

    Good post.

Chelsea have done what all the rest have failed to do. They changed the system when it wouldn't work and beat the teams they should beat. Liverpool, United, Arsenal and City have all dropped points to the so called weaker teams and that's why they are all slipping away.

Conte changed it up and got shot of Ivan, Mikel and Oscar.

Since the change to 3-4-3 we've dropped 5 points from I think 54 points available, Leicester were top of the table last year with 47 points at the same stage and the rest were shi*e.

Whats happened is everyone has got better but Chelsea have just been that bit better and I'd put that down to Conte and changing up the system.

As much as all these shock results make the league interesting for a neutral, does it not just highlight how **** the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Utd are when compared to the Real, Barca, Bayern?

Klopps attack has been found out, even the weakest teams(Sun Hull) can defend in numbers and be pretty confident of keeping it 0-0,unless we scored worldie.Far to easy and predictable and we can't play 3 at the back

The sad thing is I can't even take much pleasure from this. :(

Fair play to Hull, what a turnaround and just shows that they were absolutely right to go for Silva over the legions of great English managers who should have got the job (Henry was one of those English managers according to Merson).

For Liverpool ultimately if they don't turn it around really soon they'll have no chance of top 4. United may not take it but City will do. Probably their worst spell in memory.

You'll not get much chirping from us United fans at the moment. Maybe in our own thread but not here. It's desperate stuff all round.

How far into 2017 can they get without a win.

I'll wait until 3:30 tomorrow if you don't mind. And anyway; your mob don't have the monopoly on sh1te results. Losing to utd in the EFL Cup. 3 down in the first 20 minutes at Leicester (that's this season's Leicester, btw). 4-0 at Goodison. And, as Tommy Docherty (think it was him) once said, we were lucky to get nil that day.

13 corners to Hul''s 1. And they scored from it. What a joke we are.

    clinical from Hull

Not to drag of topic so last point:

As in the rest of the league? I don't think so.
Debatable this but I think Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal & City are making the teams below them look better than they actually are by playing overly complicated styles of football. No disrespect to teams below them either but it seems results can easily be exploited because the more limited teams are defending in numbers and playing direct.
The system Chelsea are playing isn't that complicated either IMO.
Solid defensively with two DMs mopping up the possession and then simply provide an outlet to the wingers do the work while being clinical with the chances they create.

No. It just means there's more strength in depth in the league, and that your Hulls and Swansea's are better than your Granada's, your Osasuna's or your Darmstadts.

Hull were definitely made look better today.

Not bad for bottom of the table vs title challengers.

Merson and Thompson will be spewing :D

That interview when Merson was crying about English managers not being given the chance and then when asked for an example he said Thierry Henry.

    The man's an idiot.

In fairness to Merson he doesn't take himself that seriously and that whole show is just basically a laugh and they're there for Stelling to take the piss out of.

Chelsea, the one class team in the EPL this season are dispatching the mediocre sides quite easily.Any time there are genuine class teams in the EPL it never seems quite as "competitive".

The standard at the EPL outside of the top 6 has fallen off big time and a few of the teams at the bottom are completely hopeless.

The strength in depth argument about the EPL is bollocks, if that was the case EPL teams would of an awful lot better in the Europa league.

No, he was excellent up until December when he got injured for the guts of a month.

But don't let facts get in the way of a good troll job.
