Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That was a Maradonna type goal, like one he scored against England .

Coquelin's made a fool of himself there, if you're going to foul him just bring him down.

Loved the way he shrugged off Coquilan.

    Brilliant play.

Great goal but comical defending. WTF was Koscielny at tuning his back on him in the box?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Barr

Moses is having some craic down the right side.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Goal! Genius! I want to scream Messi but it's not, it's Eden Hazard and he could become the best player in the world, the Belgian has scored one of the goals of the season.

Martin Tyler would make you sick.

Coquelin got roasted for the goal, then Moses skinned him...again!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Thought it was a bit of a fluke myself. Don't think he meant to carry the ball from inside his own half, leave Coquelin on his arse and make Koscielny and Mustafi look static.

Except it was nothing like it. This goal was all about **** defending.

Do you have a full length mirror in place when you spout these lines?

I can't remember which game it was but it was some United game in January after which I vowed never to watch a game with him commentating again if I can help it.

~1 month Martin Tyler free and it feels great

Embarrassing arsenal again, the definition of a team with absolutely no bottle.

What does steve bould actually do?

Not consistent enough for me to be the best in the world. He disappeared last year when the going got tough.

Best player in the league imo. He's been running circles around arsenal all day.

The annoying thig about Hazard is that hes capable of that but doesnt produce it enough.

It is however a great individual goal, Costas flick on though is vital and into his path.

I don't think so, I'd question his attitude to be honest, especially given his downing tools last year. Brilliant goal though, and he is a hugely talented player.
All.of the talk recently about arsenal's mental strength is kinda bs to be honest. I'm shocked at them travelling to Chelsea with a midfield 2.of coquelin and Oxtail-Chamberpot. A big rich club like them should have a better squad balance than they have.

Chelsea barely hitting 3rd gear and look comfortable.

Tbf those were extreme circumstances known as "Mourinho 3rd season syndrome" literally nobody performed due to that. Hazard is a genius.

Arsenal are missing Xhala, Ramsey, Cazorla and Eleny today so I'd cut them some slack in that regard.

A level below world class for me. Was pretty poor in the Euros too.

I've never heard of that word before, I must add it to my vocabulary.

Messi was average for a good while internationally. Didn't help having an awful manager who had no clue how to use him for his entire international career.

Kante is an absolute human machine in midfield.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,920 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Welbeck done more in a minute than Walcott did for the entire game.

Have Arsenal brought on Sanchez/Ozil yet? :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

There seems to be no passion or desire from Arsenal today. They undoubtedly have the flair players, but their mentality seems suspect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Kante has been immense today, Costa, Hazard will get the plaudits at the end of the year but hes been or is very close to our POTY.

You could say that for the past 5 years. They have lost their passion to play for wenger.
