I must give Namaste a try. There was a Namaste menu dropped in my door some months ago that I kept so they must deliver in my area.

As for Gills, I hope they won't be closed for too long.

Hay JupiterKid, I pass by it around 7pm-7.30pm open then closed, not sure if that's for the whole night or do they reopen later on but they are open at 7pm doing deliveries.

Slightly related, but is there planning permission available anywhere for the new Lidl being built next door to it?

Yes, DCC website has it in the planning section

Was Gills the one beside Hanlon's pub? That place has had about 63 different names in the last few years. And I'd be a bit wary of an Indian takeaway that specialises in milkshakes as well :)

Namaste can be good, but they ballsed up my order the last two times and couldn't find my address (obviously haven't heard of Google maps).

    Must try Spice n Rice.

Yes, Gills was beside Hanlon's Corner. They had a little shop too beside the takeaway. In the 2 years I've lived here, I never had a bad order from Gills. Always loved the food.

I'm certain they are gone for good now which is a real shame - I think it might be connected with the Lidl development on the site behind the store. Oh, well...:(

It is/was beside Hanlon's, but it wasn't the place that did milkshakes too.

Gills was one side of Hanlon's corner, on the Old Cabra Road side. The other place that also did milkshakes is/was on the Annamoe Road side. The one time I tried Gills it was absolute gick and I never gave them another try, and the other place looked so questionable I never even tried the food.

As for milkshakes, I avoid them altogether now - boys kept showing up at my yard and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
