Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    So for the past year or so I have been having problems with Internet Explorer 11 on boards here. When someone post's a Twitter video it does not play on ie11 I have to copy and paste the link into Chrome to view the video.

    Now the past couple of weeks anyway YouTube videos are not viewable either and I am not able to view some sites and the end of the address reads like "cookie?token="

    Anyone else have these problems and know a fix? I have silver light installed also.

    Is Windows set to automatically update?

    Hell no.

    Google searches even sometimes fail to search for anything.

    If you're machine is not already totally compromised, then get your Windows and IE up-to-date and you will hopefully be OK.

    As a precaution you should also then run a virus scan, Malwarebytes scan, then rkill, AdwCleaner, and rounding off with Hitman Pro.

    It's not compromised at all. Current IE 11.0.9600.18537. I run windows updates manually every couple of weeks and everything is up to date.

    Currently running a Malware bytes full system scan but a quick scan came back negative will take about 6-7 hours for full scan I reckon.

    Edit: Full scan Negative.

    Possible fixes;
    1. Reset IE - https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/help/17441/windows-internet-explorer-change-reset-settings
    2. Test under a different profile. If it works, recreate your profile https://neosmart.net/wiki/corrupt-user-profile/#Fix_Corrupt_User_Profile_in_Windows_7 (steps are different if you are using an NT account.
    3. Use a different browser. A shíty fix but IE is a cráp browser so sometimes it's the only fix.

    1 & 2 might seem a bit overkill but in honesty, it's easier than the troubleshooting you might have to undertake to try fix the problem.
