    Hi was refused carers allowance
    sent in a review letter but got refused again
    my wife has emphysema and also very bad depression
    is it worth my while appealing this

    It's hard to give advice about your exact circumstances but it's always worth appealing. They seem to turn loads of people down a few times so don't lose heart.
    Make sure you add as much information as possible to your appeal and try to add doctors letters saying how much care she needs.
    I wrote a letter in my original application saying exactly what I did on the very worst possible day and how much care I had to provide.
    Don't play it down, make sure they know exactly how hard you work.

    Make sure you add as much information as possible to your appeal and try to add doctors letters saying how much care she needs.
    I wrote a letter in my original application saying exactly what I did on the very worst possible day and how much care I had to provide.
    Don't play it down, make sure they know exactly how hard you work.
