    My own thoughts. This must be the umpteenth SAS program made about the same events again and again down the years i.e. the Iranian Embassy Siege, Falklands, Bravo Two Zero (which was a fiasco in truth) etc. Surely the BBC could feature some other less publicized aspect such as nuclear subs or something.

    You clearly didn't watch the episode then? It documents - using primary sources from the SAS archive, previously unseen - the frankly ridiculous inception of the service in North Africa. Nothing about all the things you've listed.

    Probably does, just google - SAS book - and the endless plethora of bullsh!tters and adventure stories, SAS Fitness, SAS Survival, SAS Self Defense etc it's practically a little industry of it's own !!
