Drizzle here in Ringsend, I'd say that's it for our snow chances tbh. Saw some snow yesterday though so got something out of it.

Yeah,a better chance than most as the precipitation heads over and down off the hills to you
Just very very light rain here near Arklow with the odd few swirling flakes
If I'm up the hills later I'll take a few pics

for most of us, it's either too light to amount of anything or has turned back to rain or sleet. Just a normal cold damp winters day here at this stage with milder air approaching.

Snizzle here at 250M. 1.0c. Just about sticking. Was down in Roundwood earlier and it's not sticking. Snow line seems to be right at this elevation.

First post here, I am just above Hollywood Co.Wicklow at 200m.asl snowing here in last 30 minutes, only small grains, not sticking anywhere, from my experience it will be sticking from about 300m, temp.in car was 0 to 0.5 degr., most of models had us under rain by lunchtime, appart from HIRLAM, it looks likely that precipitation will be around most of the time until tomorrow evening, we seem to be doing ok compared to some other place on the east coast from these synoptics, usually on the right side of marginality, but just need another degree colder fir it to stick

Just sleety rain at village level. People thinking how frustrating it is to be so marginal for Ireland, would want to try being marginal by 15-20 m altitude!

What is this graphic telling ?

    It is getting warmer.

The GFS has the boundary layer in the east warming as the day goes on, raising the snowline slightly (note: this sounding only goes to 1000 hPa, so does not show the lowest 30 hPa (240 m).

A beefier area of precip is developing in the Irish sea. Looks like it will make Landfall North of Dublin and Meath. The extra intensity may help in hilly areas like Collin, slane.....mount Oriel might be a good place to go. Not expecting anything from it, lying snow wise, but it might be prettier to look at than what's going through now.

you can see the milder air over the eastern UK with snow turning back to rain.

oddly enough it's still snowing lightly here, even though as you say conditions are becoming marginal now for snow. if there was not Rugby on today i'd have gone travelling to high ground to to hear that crunchy sound as you walk.
