Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reputable Used Car Dealers in Cork and Dublin

    Hi guys,

    Who are the dealers you have had good experiences with in Dublin or Cork? I'm buying a car in the next couple of months and obviously would prefer to buy from someone with a good reputation. I am in Cork but am happy to deal with someone in Dublin too as I am up there quite a lot.

    You're better off choosing a car you like first and then research the dealer selling it.

    Bought over 30 cars over the years,by far the best experience I've had North ,south, England,was auto direct,little island, cork,Ian sales manager was a gem,no bloody plamas,any problems,sorted out promptly,under warranty,and git a cracker Honda insight off them 2 years ago,,fyi. No connection whatsoever with the garage,or personnel,P.d. had lots of negative crap from most other dealers

    I've an approx 9/10k budget, have been looking around at the following:

    Hyundai i30
    Toyota Auris
    Ford Focus
    Renault Megane

    There seem to be some 2010/11 of these models available at roughly that price.

    1) Any other models along those lines that you would recommend? Not sure about reliability of the Renault but it looks quite good, i'd be favouring the i30 and Focus as it stands though.
    2) Any dealers you guys would recommend that sell these models?
