Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's not his fault that Arsenal are giving him so much reason to jump up and knock your pint over

I expected 4-0. But Arsenal being Arsenal, they got my hopes up by equalizing, before folding like a deckchair. I hate them for always making me things can be different this time :(

I was thinking 2-1 myself. Naive.

The better team at 1 all and then the epic collapse. Why do we let ourselves get sucked in only to be punched in the balls.

This sums up supporting Arsenal for the last decade or so.

Wenger isnt leaving that good of a team to his successor. Mediocre all over. Wasted 35 million on Mustafi and now the new manager will have to stick with him.

This team is "mentally very strong" :pac:

    Walter Mitty.

Lads, we are just a sh1t team, populated by by and large pretty sh1t players, whatever about Wenger the vast majority of them on the field have zero desire. I mean Chamberlain, Walcott, Gabriel etc etc this Arsenal team is very very average

I'd take 10-1 if I thought it would get Wenger to **** off. But it wouldn't. I think I might be done til he finally ****s off.

Same ****ing ****e every season. An absolute capitulation, we are a laughing stock. Any decent team can do this to us. I don't know why I expect any different. They do this every year. We are completely out of our depth.

Is this a laughing stock among the other sixteen teams in our position? Or those playing Europa league? Or those who lost to the team that finished second in our group?

Anyone think wenger will walk before the season's out?

Not a hope. In his own head he has the best team and this is all someone elses fault.

Tie's not over. 4-2 wouldnt be the end of the world. Could still happen...

Not a chance, we could lose 10-0 to Spurs at home and still wouldn't happen

We are a laughing stock when it comes to this stage of the competition, we get battered in the first leg every year. We aren't a threat to the big teams anymore, our defence is a joke, too easy to score against.

The fact he has already been offered a new deal says the club is a shambles.

Coq off, Giroud on. Ox central, Sanchez to the wing.

He won't. And he won't be pushed either. He fits the boards plan perfectly.

If he loves the club like he says, he should leave now.

Utter nonsense. No point being in this competition if you are going to capitulate in this manner. Top 16 in Europe? Who gives a fúck.

It's grand lads, the Rams' new stadium will be great.

Ospina justifying his inclusion at least

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

    Ospina fantastic tnite.

There can be no way back for Wenger. Players don't even believe in him any more. No shame in losing to a better team. But to do it so pathetically so often is grating. Without Ospina this is even more embarrassing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,473 ✭✭✭Roddy23

Ospina is actually playing very well, some great saves. Gibbs playing as captain says it all though.

Ah a bit of Bratwurst :)

Ospina has made some really good saves to keep the score down.

Yeah but our team is awful. Arsenal and the Rams are scarily similar.

Ozils biggest fan I am. But tonight he has been utterly disgraceful.

Yep Ozil has been a passenger tonight.

We won't have to worry about him next season anyway, same with Sanchez. Both gone.

The point was there are a maximum of fifteen other teams who can afford to laugh at us and how many of them could beat Bayern? And what this is our 4th time playing them in 5 years? Who of those laughing at us have beat them in that period?

Who lost control of the ball there? Ox? Embarrassing.

Dont blame Sanchez. Only player that seems to give a damn. He deserves better. 5 1 now. Lol. A shambles.

Would it be hard to get tickets for the second leg lads?

After their performances tonight would we even notice?

Any other board would fire a manager after a farce like this.

Good man Ox. Same bloke making noises earlier this season about how he needs to play more often and he might need to start thinking of his future. Great stuff.

    Just checked the score.

LOL. Best laugh all day. I mean honestly did anyone expect ANYTHING different. Called it since the draw. Knew we would get absolutely mauled.

You're basing that on what? Results? Sure results aren't important.

Feel sorry for the fans getting dished up this crap. Theyve been sensational tonight. They deserve better.
