Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, Ox is on playing on right side of a 3 man midfield... Let's see if Klopp has improved him already!

Could the Ox be on the wrong end of another 4 - 0 defeat in two weeks?

Welbeck should be nowhere near the team.
Wenger is a complete prat at this stage.

I think he's just trying to get Sanchez to shut the f*ck up. At least Bellerin is at right back, that's a step forward!

Not sure why Sanchez on the bench is a surprise, it's fairly regular after international breaks.

    Welbeck though :(

If Sanchez walked home from Chile, he'd still be a better option that Welbeck

Most of the players are playing in their natural positions, must be a step forward :o

Welbeck must have Arsene nudes saved on his iCloud account or something. How he gets a game is beyond me. Wouldn't finish his dinner.

Just watching the master class by De Bruyne there.
Some of the players Arsenal let go were rubbish while some of the players Chelsea let go are class.

Mourinho let off a couple of gems such as De Bruyne and if i recall also that German lad Schurrle.

He is so defensively minded that the first thing he assesses with an attacking player is their ability to defend and track back which to a certain degree i understand. Wenger and Guardiola are the opposite. They tend to go for centre backs who are comfortable on the ball at the back and dont look at the defensive side.

On the matter of Chelsea though, that loan system they have is quite a good idea and well within the remits of the game but it works for them because they change the manager quite often. Therefore the likes of Victor Moses can float around from club to club, year to year and then suddenly he is in the team.

Indeed. But De Bruyne fairly tracks back. Love that guy.

I like Danny Welbeck the man and to a certain degree the footballer but no way on earth should he start for us the way we are at the moment.

His finishing is atrocious. Such a pity though because if he could only finish 33% more of his chances he'd be more highly regarded in World football.

A little birdy flew to the window and informed me we are on NBCSN ;) Could be wrong though

He is quality. Gave an exhibition today. I think he excels in a free role where he can drift out to the wings. City should be pissing leagues with that calibre of player

I'm sure it's on sky sports PL?

Not sure, but watching NBCSN and they talk to the camera instead of the host. Fierce annoying.

It's in NBC Extra 1 for anyone in an area that has that channel ;)

Welbeck had to balls up his header to get it across the line :D

The cross from Kolasinac was perfect. This guy looks like a fantastic signing. Just need that clown to play him more often!

Great save by Begovic. Could have been 2 already

    We're playing some brilliant stuff.

That, of course, means Bournmouth's goal to level it is en route soon.

    Classy classy finish

Lovely goal for Lacazette. Welbeck assist.

    Great finish Lacazette :D:D

    de, de, dededede ALEX LACAZETTE!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,729 ✭✭✭Arne_Saknussem

Lacazette impresses every time he touches the ball, looks razor sharp.

Stick him out on the wing quickly Wenger before he does anymore damage to man or beast. There was at least 250 passes that could have been played around the box before Lacazette struck that ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,692 ✭✭✭emmetlego

Playing some lovely football. Very unusual. Lacazette links up very well with our forwards and we look a real threat

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,937 ✭✭✭omega man

Only Bournemouth but at least all players are putting in a shift.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,273 ✭✭✭Gizmo55

Amazing what you can do when you play players in their right position.

Ooooooh only for the ball puncturing there i wonder did it stop the ball rolling that extra few cm to lacazettes foot? :)

Awful amount of empty seats in the stadium today.

Some good some bad for me. Few bad passes doesn't make him poor when he's so involved in the play.

First arsenal game I've enjoyed watching for a long time

We might have messed up a lot in the transfer window, but the two players we did sign are quality. We are having so much joy down the left, always threatening.

Our midfield is a concern, though. We can't play out from the back through the midfield, its like there's never anyone there.

This was the perfect game for us after a drubbing.

Eddie Howe is lurking dangerously over the trap door if they lose today...Perfect for as he might be available to take over from Wenger :pac:

    I joke, i joke :D

If there's one team you could choose to play right into Arsenal's hands it's Bournemouth.

I wouldn't be reading too much into this performance/result to be honest
