Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know I said it a year or so ago and I got slated here...But... I'm after falling out of love with the game and it's this kind of shìt that's made me like this.

Im the same. Arsenal are only one minor symptom of this too albeit an irritating one.
While there is so many brilliant 'athletes' with toned torsos and whatever else on the pitch, the quality of football just seems so perceptibly bad to me.
You have teams and players with no ambition, lads not able to perfect even the simplest skill, divers, corrupt administrators, referees, agents, owners, managers, over commercialisation and TV rights. We need to all wake up and smell the coffee. Football is dead. We are no longer watching a sport but a soap opera with a football problem

The game is dictated by who has excessive transfer funds or who can pay megabucks to players and the have nots or never will haves. Once upon a time the likes of Nottingham Forest, Steaua Bucharest, Malmo and Red Star Belgrade were capable of winning a European cup or playing in a final. We will never see this again. You may see the like of Leicester winning a league on a 1000/1 shot but have reverted to type this season.

You have coaches with ipads on a sideline telling a player where to go and run around for the duration he is on the field and yet it still didnt stop Barca winning 6-1 last night and going through.

Couple of years time i would say that the penny may finally drop for some people and they may see football for what it has become although we live in an increasingly dumb world so I wont hold my breath

He's finished lads and ladies. I saw his interview on SSN, done and dusted! He knows it. Just look at his face when he answers... The re-birth is here... In a few months! :-)

I think the worst thing Wenger has done to me is to actually make me resent him because its something i just never thought i would do. He is so highly regarded amongst many of the former players and ever book ive read by the likes of Bergkamp and Parlour, Wenger is spoke of in such glowing terms.

What in the name of god happened to him? Where the hell did that fiery ambitious man who stormed into the marble halls back in 1996 full of innovation and charisma go?

Vieira did say he was loyal to a fault but he seems so so stubborn on top of this. To see Arsenal decline is bad enough because i do think we will pick it up someway down the line when we eventually get a new guy but to see Wenger decline to this extent has been very very disturbing. Describing todays Arsene Wenger with 1998's Arsene Wenger is like describing two different people.

I hope so,watched that too,not sure if he will still go though.

You must admit though, he has some balls to tough it out the last year or so. It would be easier to leave, but he just stays and the criticism keeps on coming. Is its stubborness or does he really believe?

Its stubbornness and i dont admire his 'balls' tbh because this level of stubbornness and ignorance affects thousands of ordinary working class Arsenal fans who travel from everywhere to watch them play every weekend. he isnt giving the club or the Arsenal fans one iota of thought by continuing with this farce

Half five this evening, it's a no win situation for Wenger really, Lincoln will be dogged and have nothing to fear but this is a game we should be winning comfortably

Not much of a reaction from the players today, no effort at all haven't seen the Lincoln keeper at all

Walcott has forced two saves. He's the only one.

I knew Lincoln would be up for it but you would think our lot had a point to prove too many just not arsed. Ramsey has been non existant

Ramsey has been dire around the goal. At least he's getting into good positions, i guess. More than Sanchez is doing.

Lincoln players could pick their arse and Chris Sutton would think it's "fantastic"

OK, now let Perez come on and get a hat-trick

    3-0, comfortable now

Getting a bit easy now. While I had some respect for Sutton, even after they went all "Sun (tm)", I simply don't really care for Lincoln. For me the magic of the cup has run out and I'd be happy to see Arsenal get double digits.

Not sure how much more Chris Sutton I can endure.

In all seriousness I hope a good cup run or win isnt enough to convince wenger he should stay

He's staying regardless, just can't see him stepping down. All things point to him staying, he wants to stay and the board want him to stay. They really need to get things planned for the future though when he leaves, he controls everything at the club in the footballing sense, which really isn't healthy.
