Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very late to be bringing in Welbeck and Lucas, why not 20 minutes ago...

When they only come in with fleeting jibes, then I think we can all agree it's not preferable. If they come to join the conversation then of course everyone is welcome irrespective of what club they happen to support.

None of our defenders seem able to jump at all. Lucky there.

Fans leaving on an early kick off on a Saturday, with 5 mins left to go in a one nil match. Why bother going?

Goal. Sanchez does my nut in, but we really can't afford to lose him.

    Dreadful penalty

    Dreadful penalty

Yeah the replay of it showed how close to the keeper it was.

Thankfully Hull looked like Arsenal at the end with their terrible corners and crosses while chasing.

Fair play to Hull, played better then a team in the bottom 3

Clattenburg gives us advantage for a free kick right in front of the box in added time.

    Anyway....nice win, needed it.

There will always be another player as good. Arsenal played well today against a team that sat very deep. If Gibbs could use his left foot better to cross, ye would have more chances. Good win

He scored a flukey first goal that came off his hand, and then fluked a penalty that the keeper will be very disappointed with. Hardly a world class performance.

    Dreadful penalty

    Nope. It went in.
    Dreadful penalties are missed.

Yeah, he still has the most goals in the league, flukey or not.

Poor game tbh, none of the attackers were any good. Nothing worked for Ozil and Sanchez kept losing the ball, Ox was the only decent player from midfield up. Still, wins a win and we needed that.

He's top scorer in the league.

But Jesus he drives me nuts sometimes.

    Jibes?

    A handball for the goal.
Gibbs lucky to have stayed on despite being last man back.

Like I say. Arsenal got lucky with these decisions when the game was still tight.

No jibes in there my man.

We needed it badly cause our next few PL games I could see us losing if we play like today, Liverpool away, Leicester and City will punish us. Ox was great in CM role, whats the bets he's dropped on Wednesday lol. Hull were the better team in the second half, aside from Lucas header for the handball and Alexis peno did we have a shot at goal in the 2nd half.

Dreading Bayern on Wednesday. But at least we got the 3 points today so that's a positive.

That Polish lad out the wing looks a good buy for them. Considering They were missing a few of their first team defenders. They did beat Liverpool and drew at Utd, and todays performance they were the better team in that 2nd half.

Thought Cech had a good game but you have to question whats the point in massive kickouts when Giroud isn't playing, there's no height in the team. We should be passing it out from the back not hoofing it up the field.

Learn the handball offence rule and then come back. Good lad.

    Haha, thank you!

Good timing. Liverpool fan here. Actually just came into this thread to say what a tool Ian Wright is for what he did.

Shocking poor form for an ex-player to betray confidence like that.

    Piss poor by Ian Wright.

Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena baby!!!!

I think its been taken out of context really. He did say that it was just a feeling he got from listening to Wenger. He also said that he (Wenger) was talking to the room so it wasnt actually a private conversation

Unusual to see ye two share an opinion. :pac:

They've looked more thorough in the final third than we have. Cech has had to make more saves than Jakupovic.

This has a whiff of Alt Facts about it...

To be fair we didn't have that many clear shots.

Glad we got a win. Joint second. Not what we want, but not the crisis you'd be led to believe.

A win was important today, that's all that matters. The game itself will be forgotten by midweek.

    Yeh,your right.It was a Q&A.
Wright was on MOTD he stressed that it was only his opinion and nothing else.
I wonder did he get the same bad reaction on Twitter or something.
Hope if Wenger does go at the end of the season that he leaves us with at least one more great memory, like knocking Bayern out the CL.
    Optimism is creeping in again.
The Ox looking a decent CM these last few games, put Elneny in with him and we might spring a surprise midweek.

Some big calls to be made, with Xhaka and Elneny available, and the Ox playing well.

In fairness, lucky to win. Not a convincing performance, poor IMO. It's the result that matters. Hull unlucky not to get a draw. We lucky with Gibbs and the first goal.

I think Elneny just shades it over Xhaka to partner Ox.
The Ox gives a bit of drive in the middle,I remember him having a great game in the CL against AC Milan?...
    Roll on Wednesday..
