Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's gas everyone **** in there socks over spurs , They've won **** all....and there not going to win the title this year and have to deal with two seasons in a row of getting used to new grounds. and we're going to beat them at Wembley haha in the FA Cup

Just looking at our fixture list for the rest of the season, looks like we only have one more Saturday match. All Sundays and weeknights.

Two Monday night matches back-to-back coming up.

I don't believe people think they will win anything this season. They won't.

What posters do see though is a club that is definitely going forward under Poch while our club is going backwards under Wenger.

  • Any thoughts on what one of the shareholders has said about the board? Only caught the tail end of the report on SSN at lunch but apparently he calls out the board and say they should share some blame for the situation the club is currently in.
I will listen to it again later but interesting to hear a shareholder say this publicly.

It was Usmanov, not really that surprising.

It's Usamov. The Sinn Fein of Arsenal. Isn't in power, knows he never will be, so feels comfortable saying he can do better and everything would be better under him, in full knowledge he will never have to prove any of his statements.

Except he also said Wenger should be involved in selecting the next manager which is a major lapse in judgement.

Wenger should have absolutely no part in this process.

Not an ideal situation but i'd take Wengers opinion on the next coach above anybody else currently at the club.

Either way id say we might end up with a yes man or someone way out of his depth. Ideally id love if the board could get David Dein to identify the next manager but thats a pipe dream up there with me waking up beside Margot Robbie tomorrow morning.

Better chance of you waking up with Margot Robbie I'd say

Well this will cheer everyone up. Yaya Sanogo scored a 19 minute hat-trick for the U23s in a 5 - 2 win over Reading today. He's back and soon to be replacing Alexis!

So the same team that started against West Ham. Pleased that Coquelin isn't starting. Xhaka and Elneny's defensive capabilities will get a good test tonight.

Welbeck was the worst performer against West Ham for me. Hope he's fully fit.

Ehhh just switched on to watch a bit of the build up to the match and it's basically gob****es standing around a screen going on about Leicester. Am I missing something?

The team coach got stuck in traffic and the players have only just got out onto the pitch to warm up now. Not sure if the game is to be delayed?

Just happened across the highlights from the game at OT with the row around van Nistelrooy. Really struck me at the start the difference in Wenger walking out. He looked like a hard man. Not a hardman it whatever but he looked like someone to be respected or feared. There's precious little of that about him anymore.

    Good God.
It's not as if they had hundreds of miles to travel.

True though South London traffic can be an absolute nightmare (they should be well aware of that though)

Not to matter anyway as we always start matches so well:rolleyes:

Ah sure best buds don't ya know. I find it gas with all the free time these lads have that they can't socialise in their own time. Concentrate on the task at hand instead of having the bants with the opposition FFS

All the yellow shirts around and not one of em had a clue. Desperate stuff

Christ, some atmosphere there it looks like!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭wonga77

So many yellow shirts there, Townsend should never have got that far. Time enough to turn around though, this eill be a proper test

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,306 ✭✭✭sonic85

Will it be a case of Palace shutting up shop and only attacking on the break though? That'll suit them down to the ground

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,093 ✭✭✭gitzy16v

Jesus monreal could of made an effort to block the cross, defence look like they don't care

Looks like this could be a cracker for the neutrals. Still actually fancy Arsenal to win it though, like 2-3 or something.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,307 ✭✭✭DarraghF197

It's like the Arsenal defenders never look around when defending. Their eyes are always glued to the ball, following it without any idea what any other attacking player is doing.

I really cannot see anything that Welbeck offers to the team. He's a poor man's Walcott.

Surprised we haven't been the subject of a Specsavers marketing campaign yet.

Thata what they done to us at the Bridge. We had 75% of the ball and 25 shots. Just couldnt score.

    Its the Sam Allardyce way.

I'm not Girouds biggest fan but he's the best frontman we have at the club. He should be the main man until we can buy somebody better. He shouldnt be on the bench tonight that's for sure.

What has happened to Arsenal at all? A pale shadow of the team we were.
We carry more passengers than British Rail.

How is that not a penalty? Sakho literally dived out with his hand and stopped the ball??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Walcott knows we're playing in yellow yeah?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,678 ✭✭✭Marcus Antonius

Alexis has given the ball away so many times! Also I really don't see Mustafi not getting a second yellow card in the next 70 odd minutes.

I can see us conceding another. Were so dodgy at the back it's not funny
