Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gabriel on the edge of the box before the goal. And then gives away a penalty. Can he please **** off?

What was ox doing for the first?
Never had confidence in cech to do anything for the peno, has he saved one for us?

Hopefully this will get the blood back into the Wenger Out brigade.

Like the players, they lack conviction.

Why are the spurs fans throwing stuff on the pitch?
They don't have anything to complain about.

30 minutes to save the season, to save Wenger, to save their reputations.

When Chelsea needed to change things last week they could bring on Costa, Fabregas and Hazard. We bring on Welbeck FFS.

?400 million turnover and Danny ****ing Welbeck is our option coming off the bench. **** off.

Two of them are nailed on starters that were sitting on the bench....

That's like us starting without Ozil and Sanchez, and then bringing them off the bench. Not that they would make much difference being on the pitch :D

30 minutes to save to save Wenger,

    Id rather they didn't.

The mentality of who we bring on is the issue.
Under Wenger those same Chelsea players, would be just as lack lustre.

    That's very very sad.

Today they brought on Fabregas, Ade and Willian. Not much difference.

what a joke. couldnt even turn up for a london derby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,013 ✭✭✭✭Wonda-Boy

At least Cech is earning his wages......could be telephone numbers if he was not in goal!

And Sanchez is a little pussy when he knows he runs outta space or options.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭jonneymendoza

players have to be the one to be blamed. You dont need a manager to fire you up for this game. If you cant fire yourself up for a london derby then you dont deserve to wear the shirt

Gabriel trying to get himself sent off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,409 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Not one of our players would make their team now.
    Shocking indictment of Mr Magoo.

    Who bought them?
He's got Welbeck in at wingback.
That idiot Gabriel is now a regular starting despite being **** at his job.
Xhaka is constantly on the verge of getting sent off.
    Giroud just isn't that good.
Ramsey is a waste of space.

This is turning into an embarrassment.
Spurs cemented their position above Arsenal.

It's not their fault that they aren't being forced to show passion and conviction by the mangers demeanour and tactics.
If you don't show the passion and conviction in regular games, you get dropped and sold if it's a long term thing.

I'm not even shocked anymore. I've come to expect performances like this.
I can't even see it changing either. That's what annoys me.

Giroud runs like he is afraid to mess his hair or beard....off to France with you and bring Asshole Wenger with you.

Rednapp is a ****in bellend aswell commenting, I taught he was above that.

He's already done more than Giroud in the 5 minutes he's been on, though.

Next season is going to be a serious mess.

With all the talk of players who might leave at, for some reason I get the feeling the first player out the door will be Kos.
Not even annoyed by the result Arsenal have kicked that outta me

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭jonneymendoza

    sad

I can't take anything positive from that game.
And unless Wenger leaves at the end of season, the same can be said for this season and the next.

Spurs could finish 20 points ahead of Arsenal at the end of the season.
Most of us would've giggled at the thought at the start of the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

Currently 21 points behind Chelsea. My God.

They are gonna rip Arsenal apart in the final.

If Wenger is staying, he's probably going to need to spend the guts of £150 million in the summer to strengthen that squad to even try and challenge for the title.

Are the club likely to give him that much cash? And even if they did, would he spend it?

They won't offer it because they know he won't spend it as it's not the "right" player.
He needs coaching skills not money.

They wont give him that kind of cash and besides, I wouldnt trust him with it either

No surprise any more. Yes we won last week but against an equally spineless Man City.

This defeat won't even hurt the nutty professor or his hapless bunch of wimps.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

That result isn't a surprise. The logical me was expecting it, the optimist in me hoped we could win. What is galling is the two teams ahead of us slipped up as well.

Wenger cannot stay, he has to announce he is standing down after the cup final.

Couldn't give a flying fcuk about top 4, just wanted to stop them winning the league and the fact it was the last NLD there.

FA cup would be nice now and hopefully stopping a Chelsea double. The added bonus would be if it was Wengers farewell party too.

Today confirms he's past it as a competitive top EPL team manager.

It was confirmed years ago. Today was just a continuation of the dross we've been playing under him for years.

I find it hilarious that the same people who want a bit of steel in the team then bitch about Xhaka getting stuck in.

As for the rest of the game, we simply weren't good enough. It's not that our final ball isn't good enough, it's simply non-existent.

    We haven't become a ****e team overnight.
    We don't have ****e players.
We have a manager who cannot change with the ever changing league, that has mostly, lost his real quality players and is not getting the most out of players who are just below top quality.
    Has to go.

Our 'big' players didn't/don't step up, theirs do.

Gibbs was one of our better players, that's saying something.
