passwords in firefox

Anyone know of any program to control passwords in firefox. You can save password in FF but if you need to see it have to click to show and then click yes. Very cumbersome I want to store them locally https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/ see privacy policy ??

Don't use Firefox's own built in password storage. It's like having a virtual yellow sticky with all your passwords on your hard drive.

If storing locally, use something like KeePass.

If you want to share across devices, then use LastPass.

LastPass all the way. Really handy when changing computers so you only have to remember one password.

I probably should have added, I use LastPass myself. The cross platform synchronisation is really handy.
