Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Call that a jersey pull, only looked like a little tug to me!

    Great finish too
Looks like he may be keeping that striking spot although Howe does like to rotate

A player getting injured has nothing to do with luck - it's part of the game. Luck comes into play when a match is called off due to bad weather for example; something that's outside of the parameters of what goes on on the pitch. Either that, or every single thing that happens in FPL is luck.

Closest rival in work league took Ibra and Sanchez out for a hit. His replacements were Hazard and Jesus as captain. Was not looking forward to this game earlier. Can relax now.

Sterling has been a nice little investment

Sane is roasting full backs from the left wing, perfect for Sterling to getting on the end of his crosses/pull backs

    That's not unlucky either
    That's just mental

I agree people credit luck too often. But an injury (in a youngster, not a known sicknote) is unpredictable, unlike form and fixtures. I won't lie - as a non-owner the one pointer pleases me - but it is poor luck for his owners in a game that has potential to be a bloodbath

How bad an injury was it for Jesus?

Did Stanislas and Howe have a falling out or what?? He seems to have fallen completely off the radar

Very very lucky for Afobe owners - very very lucky!

Not a season ender anyway! Could be a crafty metatarsal but I'd bet a fiver he's back for the next prem game in two weeks

My initial thought was metatarsal too

He also appears to have broken boards

Man City trolling us all, hard to know who to bring in for their DGW. Think I might keep away from their forwards though.

    But it won't be

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    Could be og.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,942 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

Better be Mings OG after that McAuley fiasco, otherwise they are huge hypocrites.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,068 ✭✭✭Tipsy McSwagger

    McAuley goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,557 ✭✭✭✭CSF

    Aguero assist og surely?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,193 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

Given as an Aguero goal, Sterling assist on the FPL site.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭Islander13

    Thats an Aguero goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,193 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

If Aguero's touch was deemed to be on target, he'll be given the goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

So there's different rules if the two players are on the same team? Glad that's been cleared up.

Looked as though it was going wide to me.

They're making it up as they go along.

Well there is in that the ball has to be going off target in this case, but IMO it's still an OG as I think it was.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Aguero scores, I don't have him and not many others do either, weird not panicking about it all.

Sterling again, good man, wins a very important H2H for me.

    I just don't know anymore
I laughed before Xmas when there were people throwing out an accusation that FPL always sided with the high ownership player to keep the masses of casual players happy
    I'm not laughing anymore

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Pugh on for ibe

    No Stanislas again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

    Yaya off. 62 all out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

They will take it off Sterling after the WBA fiasco....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,722 ✭✭✭Cartman78

A late Smith consolation goal would be epic.

Looking like 59 all out otherwise...poor enough after good start with captain Sanchez

I'm not sure where the confusion lies here.

If a shot is on target but gets deflected by an opposing player but still goes in the the attacking player gets the goal. I.e no OG

Also last touch by an attacking player gets the goal.

Assuming Aguero's shot was on target it's his goal. Doesn't matter about the significance of the deflection.

I say this as a Brunt owner and a non Sergio or Sterling owner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

Stones just behind aguero for 2 bonus
    Please score Bournemouth

    That's the point
    It looked off target

Absolutely, the argument is that it wasn't on target though.

I haven't seen the goal so yeah never mind :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

It's been changed to own goal now so that's fair enough

But now John stones is on for 3 bonus !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    Ah bollocks...

No luck this week with 50/50 decisions....

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,128 ✭✭✭NabyLadistheman

    As a Sterling & a Brunt owner I'm pretty p***ed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

    All over
Sterling will still get the 3 bonus
    Stones likely 2
1 for another city defender or the keeper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

97 points all in. Boom. I'll take that.
