clearly caught his foot. Even the commentators I am watching went as far as to say it was a second yellow for Rannochia (which I don't think it was but he definitely touched him)

Took a -4 to bring in Jesus, Firmino and Barkley for Kane, Lalana and Allen
Gone for all out attack and
    Jackupovic (Heaton)
    Coleman, Azplizecuta (McAuley, Martina, Aké)
    Philips, Alli, Firmino, Erisken, Barkley
    Costa, Jesus, Barnes

Surely be a chance for an Arsenal second as Hull push forward. Not fantastic from Sanchez today though. His decision making's been poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

Heaton normally my first choice keeper but I had to think who would score less goals Arsenal or Chelsea so I'm hoping this stays this way now

Hard to say whether Perez and Welbeck coming on helps or hinders him in this regard.

    Arsenal are getting progressively worse

Guess they'll do the chasing back leaving him to lurk up front complaining and making hand gestures about the inadequacies of his team mates :).

Have to say there's plenty of decent options around the £7m mark in midfield - Lallana, Pedro, Walcott, Antonio, Barkley, Tadic - capable of good returns depending on form and fixtures. And money then to use elsewhere

How is Sanchez not on for bonus points? Is there not points for scoring goal?

Offsides, shots off target, yellow card etc

Yellow card, fouls, offsides, shots off target, misaligned passes contribute to going backwards.

Of course I didn't captain Sanchez.

Christ Almighty I can never get it right!

Balls, will take something major for non Sanchez captainers to catch his score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

Balls. Didn't captain Sanchez, 1 guy in monthly league did.

Other main rivals don't have Sanchez tho \o/

Can't argue with that but I'm delighted. If Samchez stays on pens he will become a fearsome prospect.

On for 3 baps now. I'm a Sanchez owner (non captainer) but I feel a bit sick now. FSA League 2 h2h opponent has him captained naturally :pac:

    San(c)hez.

14 gameweeks of almost blank captain points so LONG overdue.

    Lovely stuff.

    Great stuff Alexis.

Wow....two major captain successes in a row after what has been an omnishambles of a season so far.

Carroll being out is not so good...I have one of Stanislas, Smith or Amat to come in...not feeling too confident about any of them tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

Bit meh performance from Sanchez. But still 2 goals. That il do pig

Was alway captaining Sigurdsson over Sanchez. Sanchez was barely ticking over, could have been rested or taken off early. Also up against a Hull side who have been great at the back.

Siggy in great form and Leicester are not.

Nice one Alexis. I'm glad I switched the captaincy from Siggy to Sanchez now.

I never considered captaining anyone but Jesus this week. I think if you owned him you had to captain him against Bournemouth.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,270 ✭✭✭clairewithani

I was not going to captain him either due to friend of mine (fanatic Arsenal fan)
thinking he could be rested. Muchos gracias to the guy who put me straight on the captain thread.

Yeah, if I didn't own Jesus it was Alexis all day long but against Bournemouth's defence, Jesus was an easy enough pick

No offence to your friend but if he's such a big fan he should know that Sanchez is rarely rested and especially not for a game that Arsenal badly needed to win after the poor results against Watford and Chelsea.

Fair enough but they are playing Bayern wed and only Hull today so I thought it could happen.
