Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Brilliant that he dropped can for this :)

Aye mate, he probably should have been dropped weeks ago to be fair as he has been out of sorts for a long while.

Only thing is that if we end up winning this you just know everyone will be on Can's tits if/when he gets a recall.
    Which is not ideal.

Anyway, feck it all, we're playing great. Lovely to see us back to ourselves! :)

Spurs so tactically poor. Liverpool can't believe their luck

    Great vchance
Lucas needed to keep it down. He was well over it

  • Spurs have been consistently ****e against anyone in the top six
    Feck them

Probably the first corner of 2017 that actually found a man and it was bloody Lucas on the end of it.

Dembellend making a fool of Coutinho and Firmino

Dembele's one of the best dribblers in the game, lovely turn.

Everything is 70% quicker when Can is not playing .

    Spurs
    More like Spuds

That was easily our best half of the season. Spurs will come out fighting in the second half and we need to defend the lead now and only attack on the break.

    Torn now.

    What to do.

    Part of me remembers Bournemouth.

Confidence is still low so a spurs goal could cause a lot of panic. Lucas is reading the game so well in fairness to him.

Now this is more like it liverpool

Yeah it sure is. Hope he doesn't become a scapegoat for other results though coz ya can just see that happening now.

Brilliant 45 minutes. How badly did we need that? Just crucial that Spurs don't get the next goal though.
It could change fast if they do.

Yes, but the game itself is playing a massive part in that too though. When we get it with a break on, there's an urgency to push forward quickly.

When we have 80% possession facing a wall of players happy to just sit there as we've had recently, the whole tempo of the game is different.

They were great against Chelsea and city at home.

Spurs should come out and park the bus in the 2nd half, probably see them win 3-2.

Good start to the second half too by Liverpool, no let up. If we do concede though I can see panic setting in a bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

United would want a liverpool win here I would have thought. Bunches all the teams together again.

Not that close considering it was offside.

Pool found a real gem of a player in Matip

Spurs are gonna get a man sent off here, probably Alli

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,497 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

He deliberately goes in to stamp on Clyne, the most blatant of red cards and it's not given. Typical.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    A red for me, malicious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    That was nasty.

But he's an honest English player he wouldn't meant it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

Surely a red for Kane no?

Liverpool not composed enough the last 15 minutes. Need to be careful.

    Coutinho coming on for Spurs.

  • Silly challenge from Milner

Mignolet and Lucas have been great today, shutting the doubters up.

Yup. Should lure a few of the spuds in for fouls.

Been solid when coming to collect crosses, and I'd say that's the weakest aspect of his game

    Son

Yellow was fair enough imo. If roles were reversed and we got a red for that I'd be fairly pissed off

You seem to have some obsession with Spurs players

He's controlled the box today as well as I've ever seen him do so, hopefully it's a sign he's been working hard on that. That and his distribution let him down, if he can permanently sort both of those out we'll have a solid keeper for the next five years at least.
