    Hi all, got a quote today for €3950 fully comp open drive for courier insurance. Way more than I expected. Tried a few other companies but they wouldn't even quote. Do any of ye know companies that will offer competitive courier insurance or any European companies that would offer cheaper insurance here?

    I spent a couple of years dealing with courier insurance.

    It is a toxic sector and tbh you will be doing well to get more than a handful of companies that will actually quote.

    Have you tries insure my van or Wright's in Wexford?

    I'd say just Google brokers rather than trying insurers directly.

    The quote above is off Wrights, insure my van won't quote.

    Try some of the other big brokers so such as First Ireland, JLT, Willis or Arachas.

    You are unlikely to better that quote though, given the poor performance of the hire and reward market over the last number of years.

    It is hard to find a quality courier insurance company nowadays, but there are many sites where you can compare the quotes of various European courier insurers' quotes. Here you can compare courier insurance quotes with great ease and reliability. It has a number of cheap courier insurance for vans, bikes and cars.
