Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been driving an x5 for a couple of years now and while I'd happily continue driving it the tax us just scandalous especially when I've added up how much I've paid over the past 5 years

    I've looked at 13 bmw 520d m sport
    a 12 a6 an 11 a5 s line and a Mercedes Benz E Class avant-garde

I like them all, the merc is very big or feels so to drive the same line are ten a penny now the mercs also tend to drop in value quickly I've beem told.

Are there any other pros or cons anyone could add. Anyone have any of these or driven any of these

The 5 Series will be the most familiar to you coming from a X5 but all will be down on power and refinement coming from the X5 assuming it's the 3.0 diesel.

If you want something that isn't as common as the above then have a look at the likes of an Audi A7, BMW 6 Series or Merc CLS. These are all share alot with their saloon cousins but can come with nicer engines and are a bit more adventurous in the styling department. Of course they won't offer the same practicality as a SUV.
