    Hey!

I'm thinking of getting one of the early morning translinks down to Dublin from Belfast, the 0700 service gets in at 0925 and I've a train to catch in Heuston at 1015....

Is the bus usually on time this time of morning or should I opt for the earlier option?

    Regards,

    Zeal

Also consider Aircoach as well, they have services leaving Belfast xx:30 minutes past the hour arriving in O'Connell Street at 40 minutes past hour and are non stop apart from AIrport.

Normally I'd say that what you will do is fine and 50 minutes is plenty however since you are traveling at peak time you are more likely to hit heavy traffic, you probably should be okay though on the 7:00 Translink.

Get the LUAS tram, no issues with traffic!

If you walk to Buraras (100 metres extra), you double the frequency of trams.
You could also get a train from Connolly through the Phoenix Park tunnel to the likes of Newbridge, and change there. But nicer experience from Heuston via tram.

You could get a train Belfast to Dublin to anywhere on the Irish Rail network on a single ticket. Walking time is about 35 minutes between the stations, but tram will do it in 15.
