Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Suzuki swift clunking noise when going over speed bumps front left area

    Hi,

Recently purchased 07 swift. 90k KM and have a 6 month warranty but 3 months on suspension.

Noticed recently that when going over speed ramps (the big asphalt ones) and specifically when coming down the other side a noticable 'metal on metal' clunk can be heard from the front left wheel area. Is evident also on the right but not as bad.

Just curious as to what it might be before I bring it back as the 3 months suspension warranty is still valid, just in case I might be fobbed off etc. Bought from main dealer 6 weeks ago.

Also, the gearbox feels a bit 'rough' when changing gears. Could this be the clutch or perhaps a gearbox issue?

Could be tie rod ends, balljoint, bushings..... etc etc

Gerabox might be nothing but doesn't sound like clutch IMO.
