We're think of buying this sofa however when you measure the dementions of it
It won't fit through our doors or any standard doors that I know off.
Do you generally have to move a sofa at a certain angle in order for it to fit through a door.
We had sofas in the past and I know they were tight to get in and out the door but you got their eventually or have sofa got a lot bigger?

We got a couple of recliner sofas from DFS a few months ago. The delivery driver brought them into the house and assembled them. I imagine he was trained to do this as it took no longer than 15 minutes.

I doubt Argos delivery staff have any specialist knowledge regarding sofas, but may be able to help if they're experienced.

    This might help:

I didn't think there were too many sofas that came disassembled? The one mentioned above seems to be just shy of 3 foot at its narrowest?

In the past we've had to lift our sofas and couches over the side gate into the back garden, remove the sliding patio door, and squeeze it in at an angle that slightly reduced it's depth making it just about possible.

It was a pair of recliners, they are split into separate chairs so each seat can recline individually.

    You just need to pivot.

That should fit through any standard door, you just need to work the angles.

If in doubt, recliners they disassemble.

Most sofas will go through standard doors with the legs off though.

That sofa doesn't look large tbh. Looks like it should for any standard door with cushions removed.

    Angles as stated earlier

Thanks, it's actually a gift I'm planning on giving my parents(well mainly my mother) and I don't want the delivery drivers to be like sorry it won't fit in the door!
