Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Business online can no longer support Chrome and now it firefox will no longer be supported.

Orcale/Java themselves are removing the plugin from future developments, how long are BOI going to stick with outdated technology?

    Good Afternoon Nuttzz,

We have contacted our Business Online team who have confirmed the following:

'We are recommending that customers, who use Mozilla Firefox to access the Business On Line system, download the Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release (Firefox ESR) as a short tem solution to Mozilla removing Java functionality within Firefox with their upcoming update.

In 2017, we'll be launching Bank of Ireland KeyCode, an improved way to access Business On Line. Bank of Ireland Key Code is a secure mobile authentication app that, used in conjunction with Business On Line, allows you to unlock all the codes required for your online banking in one secure place. Bank of Ireland Key Code will replace your existing logon passwords and the Digital Certificate security feature, and will be required in order to access Business On Line and authorise payments.

Replacing current security features ensures compatibility for Business On Line with all major internet browser.'

I hope this helps and if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Elaine

When in 2017 will this be launched?  It took about 6 years for BOL to be relaunched despite many promises so the track record on release dates is a bit suspect...

    Hi Nutzz,

    Thanks for your post.

We don't have a time frame for the launch of this, but we'll keep you posted here on Boards and our website with any updates.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

Really disappointed by the message this morning on BOL that from now on I'm expected to use Internet Explorer to access it. It is ridiculous that the business banking doesn't work in Chrome and soon Firefox too.  IE is far less secure a browser. Your developers shouldn't be designing anything that doesn't work with ALL MAJOR browsers.
