Phillips won't sort it as it's out of the 1 year warranty (hadn't been opened for a few months when received it as a gift!)

I doubt I have the receipt for DID although I probably used my debit/credit card (bought a TV at the same time though).

Do I have any options?

Or just get a new music player??
