Minus balance on prepaid credit card!!

I have just noticed my 3 money card has a negative balance . How is this possible as if you try to use it when there is no balancein it it is declined.:confused:

Recurrent payment set up on it, timing issues. Few possibilities

Possibly due to monthly fees being due and will be deducted from any top up.
