Finished The Sinner last night.

It started off interesting but to be honest I only ended up watching to the end out of time committed to it so far. It was getting more average for me as it went on.

Only a 5/10 for me.

And I would have thought that this naturally a 1 season show. Won't be watching any more of it.

Finished Season 2 - Julian

I really enjoyed the series all the way up until the final episode. Again, like Season 1, it was a big letdown. The father leaving the motel key in the pocket of his jeans... ah now come on! Loads of unanswered questions remain as well.

I too just finished and have questions:

1. Agree that the keys thing was ridiculous. Massive keychain in his pocket the he didn't notice driving home, in the washing machine or when he put it in the dryer? Annoying.

2. The girl in the lake red herring was a bit lame. Just so happens the lake they checked had an unrelated dead body in it. Annoying.

3. The head of the cult - moved away or murdered? Ah, who cares. Annoying.

4. Any logical reason why the kid killed his "parents"/carers in the first episode, the whole starting point of the show. None. No motive. He was having breakfast and just decided to kill them. Beyond annoying.

Other than that, not a bad show, I've sat through worse.

Yupp, I'm the same. I loved the first season, the 2nd was very good but this is a complete borefest. Not 1 character is likable. They even made bill pullmans character boring. Will stick with it as I'm half way through but whatever clever twist I'm sure they have planned, i won't care by the time is revealed.

I think this series is getting ridiculous now, and what's happened so far could have been compressed into one episode. The police "procedure" seems to be off the wall batsh!t crazy. If there's another series, the people responsible for this series should take part in it, and be the victims of a gruesome culling.
