No NCB (expired), trying to insure '98 Polo

    Hi,

    I cannot seem to get anyone to insure my 1998 volks polo (running fine). The car was parked up for a few years (because 123.ie were far too expensive, in 2013).

    I now want to insure the car however as my NCB is over the 2 years Zurich, First Ireland, Quoteme.ie, Anpost car insurance, 123.ie, McCarthy Insurance Group -Cork, so far will not insure me because of the NCB out of date. I am a 38year old Lady, with a clean full licence, no claims ever, (had to park it up because at the time i simply couldn't afford it).

    Has any one any advice on what my possibilities are from here please?
