Built up yesterday, quick run out this morning.

Bike turned out great Clog. Really like the alloy Potenza (edit: centaur) groupset with the frame.

Didn't realise this thread was so old! Have been moving bikes and parts around the last while and bit of a overhaul of the bikes. Still not sure I have fully settled on these and might move another one, we will see.

    50107727627_24acddb53d.jpg

Argon 18 e119+ tri. Ultegra Di2 and power 2 max power meter. Haven't used this half as much as I should have at this stage. But it does look great!

    50107727242_babbb3a0b3.jpg

Bianchi oltre x4. Dura ace groupset with fulcrum black nite wheels. My nice weather/coffee spin bike. Really like how this bike looks, but bit like the TT bike doesn't get the use it should.

    50107488381_2f63cf693c.jpg

Giant TCR advanced SL. Integrated seat post and ultegra r8000 groupset. Love this bike. Never thought I would buy a bike with integrated seat post but picked it up second hand last year and has been used for every spin since. This bike is the reason the bianchi doesn't get used.

    50107727432_bda991bd92.jpg[

Newest bike and only one I bought new. Giant Advanced pro. Built up from the frameset. Ultegra Di2 disc. Set up pretty much the same as the other giant, a little less aggressive. Still some tweaking on set up to do and only one short spin on this but it's probably a little more comfy than the other. Maybe because of the wider tyres or the normal seat post but this is my new bike for doing everything. Other one will become my race bike.

Lovely bikes Joey - although are they not a bit too similar though? I've found that I can only really get on with one bike being my best bike at any one time!

I've finally settled on a fleet after taking back up cycling about four years ago & endless chopping and changing ever since.

Good bike is a Giant TCR Advanced Pro 1 Disc 2020 - Ultegra Di2, carbon wheels and power meter. Only done a few hundred kms but can't see myself wanting to upgrade this for the foreseeable future. Problem now is that every bike would need electronic shifting too

Winter bike is now a Cannondale Synapse 105 Disc 2018 - full mudguards being installed once I find the right size screws. Very comfortable bike so also planning to use this on a few longer trips coming up - aim is to get to 160 or 200km this summer.

I have a Brompton (commuter and round town - love this), Specialized Allez (turbo bike for the moment, pretty much brand new so probably too good for this) and a Cube Attain and Canyon Roadline in the parents and in-laws houses. Must add photos.

    Really like that genesis above.

    Here’s mine, so far:

Bianchi Infinito CV, newest build, only taken out for couple of spins so far but love it. Dura ace 9000, fulcrum Quattro carbon wheels

Van Nicholas Ventus, Ultegra 6800, fulcrum zero. The cheapest of the VN offerings a few years back but really like this bike. Hopefully stays in good order for years to come

Condor Fratello, Ultegra 6800, zondas. Commuter and bad weather bike, currently set up for spins with youngest daughter. Really like the paint job and classic look of this ( when child seat and rack removed).

Thanks Alanbt, I’m partial to a modern steel bike, hence the 931 road bike and 853 mountain bike.

    Your VN is nice!

    three in the fleet

    roadie

    planet X rt57

    upgrades

    170 50/34 crank from 175 53/39 and added trusty elite 50s.mixed 5d saddle.

    TT

    Boardman Elite Air

Upgraded cranks to magene P505 165s and added 15deg riser spacer to bars

Elite wheels carbon disc and 88 front

    Gravel

Lexon Gran Endurance full carbon integrated cockpit

Sram 1x11 hyd brakes 42T front and 11-42T rear.

    Elite Gravel wheelset.

As you can see I love magene and Elite wheels, ZTTO are great also for cassettes and stems etc.

Bought Elite wheelset on PX above for 440€ 5 years ago and only needed to change freehub bearing a month ago.

Liked them so much i took a punt on TT setup and more recently the gravel set.

Koga F3 4.0. Commuter bike from my time living in the Netherlands. Belt driven, hub gearing. Built in dynamo etc. Slightly heavy but love this bike, so reliable.

Giant TCR. Bought second hand. Upgraded Hunt wheels. Full Ultegra. New crankset recently thanks to shimano. First road bike but always feels quick

OnOne Scandal. Bought via Planet X during covid. GX groupset, Rockshox Gold fork. Considered replacing with a gravel bike but so versatile during winter when the ground gets sloppy.

Here is my current fleet and as per all of us, wondering where to go next.

Aside from commuters / pub bikes which I am not including here (nor a brand new CAAD12 which is gathering dust on my Wahoo Kicker), I can only deal with a max of three bikes on the go at any one time (good bike, winter bike, gravel bike) as any more means at least one is not being used.

At the moment I'm considering a Canyon Grail CF SLX Di2 which is on sale (and would probably allow me to go down to two bikes with a second wheelset, I'd keep the Giant), or just replacing the two existing gravel bikes with a Canyon Grizl CF SL Trail which would give me a pure gravel bike with good spec, suspension, electronic shifting.

The good bike, a Giant TCR from 2020, running Ultegra Di2 and Zipp 303s. In an ideal world I would be able to fit 32mm tires on this and have the cables a bit more integrated, but I'm planning on keeping this as my good bike for as long as possible, mainly because you are looking at 5k or so to get something that performs as well as it does. I've also changed the gearing to have a compact on the front and 11-34 on the back.

The winter bike - a Genesis Equilibrium 2019 Disc. Got this frameset on the cheap from a dealer stopping selling Genesis (think it cost me 300 or 350 brand new) and built it up during the great covid parts shortage. Normally has full mudguards on for the winter, or takes 35mm tires without. I've done some of my longest and greatest rides on this.

The gravel bike - a Genesis Croix de Fer 853 2020 set up 1x GRX. Love this bike but I upgraded the fork to carbon to save a bit of weight and it barely clears a 38mm tire which isn't enough for gravel in my opinion. So question is to upgrade fork again or sell (current thinking is a Ritchey WCS Carbon Adventure fork but that is 500€)

Then finally - a Winspace G2 which I built up this year for no real reason and after one or two rides, I don't like it yet. For my style of riding the CdF is probably better, this would be good if I was racing. It has great spec (SRAM Rival eTap AXS XPLR) and 50/45mm tire clearance, but realistically I need a bike fit and the cables are routed internally on it so I am picturing headaches there. If I got close to my money back I would consider selling.

What money did you put into the Winspace? And what would you consider selling the frame for, if it came to breaking it?

Saw the new tcr advanced pro in a shop during the week. Ultegra, nice slr wheels but...

    €7500!!! :( :(

Cost me 2340 - including 250 to the LBS for finishing it off when I got fed up of trying to learn how SRAM works. Would take 2000 for the full bike (I live in NL though so that wasn't a for sale post) - it has less than 100km on the road only. If I split (still if), I'd take 670 + postage for the frameset, still have the original box. Not sure if I'm willing to do that for now, would only be if it hasn't sold locally in a month or so.

Yeah crazy prices, on the other hand if you are willing to take last year's model and you shop around online, you might find a nice discount. External cables is the only real difference and with my experience on the Winspace above, integrated cables look cool but are a lot of hassle both in terms of building and getting the fit right.

Bought 2nd hand for 350€ with kyrsium elites that were for the bin tbh as nipple corrosion had gottent the better of them.

Popped out the BB386 evo & FSA cranks and put in a 2 piece BB30-24 ZTTO BB to take the 24mm spindle, with Senicx 170s with 50/34 and ZTTO 11-32 on back.

    Mixed 5d saddle

    Ztto 90mm stem

added my trusty Elite Pro 50s with Specialised turbo cottons

Built around 23s for rear stays 10 years ago, hares breath to get 25s on there and climbing in the saddle as OOS flex can cause tyre rub against the stays(tick tock). lol!

Custom build TT bike, frame from https://velobuild.com/, ultegra di2 gearset. TRP brakes which are very fussy to setup, but who needs brakes :-)
