Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    huh.

It's worked a hell of lot against us this year.

Probably 60-70% of the games we have played this year have been against that kind of tactic. We've lost what, 3 or 4 games in all comps this season. This is a cup game, a draw is not enough, which is normally the best you get wity these tactics. We weren't up for it and a bit more in an attacking sense might have made the difference.

No point going out of the cup with a close loss when you never really threaten much. May as well give it a go.

Chris Sutton comes across very weird and irritating

It's like he's on the price is right or play your cards right. Always very odd

    it's just not really practical.

Their best hope was to keep us out which we've had a lot of problems breaking teams down who did this and hope you get something on the break/set piece etc

They played very well. Throwing caution to the wind and getting battered 4/5-0 is not what you want for your team who's in a relegation battle

they can take a lot of confidence from the way they played today.

It was a very poor performance from United, Ibra is gold and he pulled them through. Blackburn shouldn't be at the races with United, we are pretty hopeless and there is no excuse for United only winning 2-1 against us.

People might like to say we put up a great fight but I just seen it as United being weak in midfield and us getting through more than we should.

We have been brutal bad this season, we don't have a good enough squad to compete in the Championship. I'm glad we are out of the cup so we can at least keep most of our squad fit and maybe just avoid relegation if we are lucky.

Agreed, all eyes on the prize of staying on the division now.

I've been impressed with Owen coyle. Wasnt expecting much at all, but he's got us playING again ....albeit without always good results

Could have something to do with it being surprising to see the team 2nd bottom in the Championship open up the defence of the most expensive squad in the history of football, somewhat less surprising the other way around.
Well, it's a fact. Whether it's a fact that bores you, I don't care about so much.

If I have done calculation correctly, ManUtd squad was assembled for 473 Million pounds or 494 Million pounds (if Martial addons are paid in full) with plus or minus few millions.

City paid 532 Million pounds to assemble their squad and that is without adding addons for Stones, Gabriel Jesus.

Real Madrid paid 581 Million Euros or 611 Million Euros (If you include Coentrao whom they have loaned out) to assemble their squad.

Transfer fee might be wrong but that's what was published on various reliable papers.
