Hi all, My cousin is on housing list almost 10 years. Might get house soon. I just wonder if he will get house does he can transfer house to us as he won't need for so long. Or if he will resingn house will back to council. Does anyone had situation like that ? Thanks for help

It goes back to the council. Only someone living permanently, long term in a house can "inherit" the tenancy and only when the registered tenant dies.
