Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Damp proofing - Injection damp coursing or not?

    Hi,
I was hoping to get some opinions on damp proofing a shed conversion. We thought it was built from mass concrete and so it wouldn't be suitable for injection damp coursing. However we took the existing concrete floor up and it revealed a double layer of red brick at the base of the wall. Our current theory it a few rows of brick were put down and then the concrete pored into them to create the floor. Because of this discovery I was considering getting injection damp coursing done. Then I read this article http://www.heritage-house.org/managing-damp-in-old-buildings.html and now I'm more confused than ever.
Has anyone got injection damp coursing done? Are you happy with the results?
    Thanks
