Talk about a buzz kill - no-one is forcing anyone to pay for tickets. The last Eddie gig two years was amazing, if this one is anything like it I'd be happy to pay for the price, but that's me.

but you cant really discuss...… nor really show contempt....
Some people cant grasp the reality that other people can/could/do have other opinions about things.

But you've added nothing other than negative comments about date rumours ..then you won't pay money to watch Eddie....you're not discussing .. your posts have added nothing to the thread, but I'm sure you're already quite aware of this ;)

Seriously go back to posting about the gig. This is getting tiresome. Also if you've made your point one way or the other. There's no need to keep harping on about it.

Tickets available on ticketmaster for block B & F for anybody still looking for a ticket.

Just bought a ticket, having missed the pre-sale and general sale.

Went into ticketmaster, was going to get Vedder tickets.
I just cant make myself buy them.

    Just looking at Setlistfm.
His last gig , he played 10 covers out of a 24 song setlist.
9 out of 23 in a gig, a while before that.
12 out of 30 in another one.
There is playing 'Fillers' and then theres taking the pi$$...

    Im out.
Im not paying 100quid to hear him play Cat power or George Harrison covers....

"And even though I am a massive PJ fan, I didn't even try to get tickets.
Im not throwing that money at him, to hear (more or less) the same songs I heard him play in Cork 2 years ago".

"Not negative. I don't want to pay that money to see him do the same songs that he did here 2 years ago.
    My opinion and prerogative".

Despite your previous comments, yet here you still are. Are you waiting for someone to try to twist your arm - "Ah go on, buy an Eddie ticket". You said you're not going to the gig. And have moaned about the prices. And now complaining about covers. I can't see what else you can positively bring to this particular thread. Time to take a hint.

Or you feel you have to be a voice of the masses ?
If you don't like my OPINION -
    a) ignore it
    b) thrawl back through the thread for previous opinions.
    c) disprove anything I have stated.

I will continue to post my opinions. I don't think its your job to dissect mine?

I was at the concert in The Point 2 years ago and it was one of the best concerts I was ever at: Eddie Vedder was in great form. Liked the covers and the audience was fantastic (Best audience I ever experienced). I have no problem seeing him again and can't wait.

Himself and Hansard are a brilliant double act, Hansard tees Vedder up so well and the encore with the 2 of them is just magic.
I baulked at the €100 ticket price first, but when he announced this time it wasn’t even a question.

Annoying there's nothing like this for Ireland. Messaged either Live Nation or Ticketmaster Ireland last year. No replies of course.

The Irish gig was never in need of a gimmick to sell tickets...

A loyalty scheme should be introduced for TM Ireland

Points for every purchase u make and u could redeem for Vouchers or tickets etc

    Wont happen though

I know this gig doesn't need help. But would be nice say if there were cheap tickets to a Tommy tiernan gig or some malahide gig etc.

There should be a loyalty scheme. Bought 20+ tickets last year. Even a small no fees discount would be nice.

Why would they ? Ticketmaster have no real competition, they can do what the want, which is exactly what they are doing .........screwing every last euro they can get from their customers.
