I've had all sorts of fruit flung at me, usually from vans.

I used to get stuff thrown at me out of cars a fair bit. Not sure what a lot of it was, but eggs on one occasion at least. On another occasion, for the terrible crime of saying "careful!", I had fast food thrown at me.

Watch the very end of the video, she cycles contraflow on a one-way street to make sure the van can't follow her.

Which is a very smart move given how threatening they had already been when swerving their van at her earlier on. I've had to do the same escaping a dangerous driver before.

I've always liked brave people, it is easier when you are big, but when smaller and outnumbered it takes a special mentality.

It was a fight or flight situation, and she chose fight!

Had she just taken a different route those scum bags would just continue to trat women like that every day. Maybe they will think twice next time.

Seriously have to wonder at the mindset of lads like that...

    Good for her.

What an awful woman, she deserves to be done for criminal damage. The lads arent great, but words dont deserve damage to their property

She's a ****ing hero, and deserves a medal. The lads deserve a good hiding....

Now I am in my mid-thirties, I don't get as much I did in my twenties but I still get the odd eegit shouting "big tits" out his car window. Like what is the possible outcome of such an approach, why do these men do this?

You may possibly run into him in a pub, remember his compliment and buy him a drink.

It tends to be dickheads who do it and whatever it is about more than one guy in a van it turns them into assholes.

Maybe they watch too much porn and think you will give them a look at your cans if they shout it.

If I was passing by this scene I definitely would have got involved, obnoxious ****, she was totally right.

I was stopped in phibsborough once waiting at the lights with one hand on the railings. There was a lady at the pedestrian crossing waiting for the green man. Our eyes caught each other then her eyes drifted down to my Lycra clad package. The cheek

Another time, also in phibsborough I was stopped at the lights. Two women (looked like they were heading to croke park) started cat calling me. Then approached me wanting to bring me to McGowan's. I didn't go

While I agree that the lads deserved it, I'm pretty that she cycled past 2 police officers at about 55 seconds in? Probably more appropriate to say it to them rather than take the law into your own hands...

I also got a sexual compliment from a female driver once or twice. Can't say it ruined my day...

I hate when I think I've spied a nice ass ahead of me, slow then to check it out then find it has a beard :(

But all joking a side I love the girl in that clip. Deserves the scumbags in the van right, I just wish their registration plate and faces were visible to the viewing public.

I stand corrected, saw the high viz and the van wasn't police, didn't screenshot the girl on the bike :pac:

Impressive how she managed to rip it off so easily!

Well done for the girl in the video. It could have ended badly if the driver had opened his door and knocked her off her bike, but he didn't, and justice was served. It's sad to see these idiots acting this way towards other people, but great to see them get their comeuppance!

This is all over the place - but it was staged - Fake News

A man was allegedly seen giving instructions to actors before the scene was filmed by a motorcyclist on Monday.

... “I was across the road having a break and I saw this very attractive girl with a bike talking to a blonde guy who was giving her instructions.

“Then three guys dressed in orange site clothes turned up in a van and the blonde bloke was giving them instructions too.

“He was telling the girl: ‘You need to ride behind the van aggressively’.

“They practiced the scene two or three times with the motorbike riding behind them.

“You could see there was already damage to the wing mirror, it was loose.

I hear :pac: they're a lot harder to rip off than that. You'd allegedly have to kick one a couple of times before tearing it off. Allegedly ;)

I seem to remember that a University Physics tome in the bottom of a bag would take a mirror clean off if swung with force...

I don't really have anything to add that hasn't been said already, except can we not just use the word "women" when we mean "women", and not "females", "ladies" or "girls"?

I doubt even your most archetypal white van arsehole wolf-whistles at children.

fake news - has been discredited as such and proven to be created footage and had been caught out due to people seeing them rehearse - (i just read someone posted that already from the sun)...

it's obviously some r3tarded stunt from half-le5b!an feminazis to "raise issues"...

or else an attempt to get you to reach the above conclusion.
i'm keeping an open mind, but let's just say that i'm not taking the sun story as evidence either way.

that said, your favoured terminology would make me suspect you were going to reach that conclusion anyway.
