New to Living in Syndey - reccomendations?

    Just arrived in Sydney but our current hostel is terrible. We have to leave at 9am!

    Can anyone reccomend hostels for temp accomadation before we find an apartment?
    Any other tips for first timers? :confused:

    Billabong Gardens in Newtown isn't meant to be bad. A friend stayed there a while back and said it was ok. It's close to everything, close to transport, not too expensive. Other options are Airbnb.

    790 On George is a great hostel and cheaper than most. Give decent rates.

    A tip, dont try get work as a traffic controller as a guy.
    Sign up to Hayes Construction and ring them every day to get work till you get a job
