EV Conversion Insurance

Has anyone successfully converted a petrol car/motorbike to electric and insured it? I'm specifically looking at building a motorbike but so far Carolenash and Cornmarket have given me a pretty straight up no. Carolenash said the conversion would have to be done by the manufacturer of the bike

Look up bmw ev conversion Ireland on u tube and get in contact with DM
He should be able to give you a steer in the right direction.
