Can't log into my account

    Hi.
    It's been about a week since I couldn't log into my online account normally. The system simply doesn't allow me in, showing "please wait" and then goes back to authorisation page. This is very strange and new, it used to work normally and without any problems. Would you please advice me what's going on. I can't reenter on both my laptop and my phone.

    I'm using Firefox both on my phone and laptop.
    Have been using the same browser for years, loggin in, paying bils online etc no issues.
    This problem had occured very suddenly.

    Could you please clear the history form your devices, and remove any cookies from the devices?

    If you are still unable to log into your Electric Ireland Online Billing account, could you please send us a private message with the following details?
    • Your full name
    • Your Electric Ireland account number
    • The first line of your address
    • Your contact number or date of birth
    • Confirmation you are the account holder (a sentence stating this is sufficient)
    • Your email address
    We can then look into this further for you.

    I have same problem with firefox but chrome is all right.

    Thanks for reply, Brige. I cleared all history in browser including cookies and it didn't help.

    Thanks, Danjo. Just checked with Internet Explorer, and it works! There must be some issues in the system related to Firefox browser. It was working fine until recently.

    I just tried it again now twice and its working. So hopefully they have it fixed.

    Could you advise what browsers you used to access the Online Billing system? Or was this error limited to Firefox?

    Brige, both myself and eurasian, have stated above that we can login on other browsers, in his case Internet Explorer and in my case Chrome.

    We both normally use Firefox so there is a problem EI have with it.

    Thanks for reply, Brige. As Danjo said above, it works ok from a different browser. I tried Internet Explorer and it works. It doesn't work from Firefox anymore. Not possible to log in entering correct login and password.

    Seems like things are back to normal. I was able to access my account from Firefox since Thursday.
