Pro cycling in the 90s

There's a series of articles coming up over the next 10 days or so on Cyclingnews about the pro scene in the 90s with contributions by leading journo's and some riders (Millar - who is always a good read.)

It marks the period when EPO really began to take hold and influence the results to a notable extent, though its use argueably began a bit earlier.

Then again I guess is no real rumors about any of those early 90s stars as there was no way to catch them.

If EPO took off in the 90s, the 00s seems to be when they started trying to catch it
