    Hi,

Trying to make skirting board out of moisture resistant MDF to match a bath panel with the same profile in the attached picture. Would anyone know what tools I need for making this profile - a tablesaw? and if so any recommendations much appreciated.

    Apologies for the novice question.

    Thanks

Looks like a plain rebate let into the edge of the MDF. If all you have is a table saw it will cut in two passes. Some support leading off the table saw surface would be a help. The only snag is that you will see the blade marks especially if painted. A router table will do a neater job if you use a feather board to keep the MDF tight to the cutter. Of course you could use two boards with different widths and glue them together.Apologies if its a cove profile - hard to be sure from the photo !!
