Is it true that the direct marketing preference has been lost when eir transfered the phone book to http://fcrmedia.ie/
I'm getting more cold calls now and there's no "No Direct Marketing" notification sign beside the entries in the eirphonebook.ie

How do we opt out now?

    Hi  KAGY,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

This should have no effect on your marketing preferences as your service provider should submit these. Are you an eir customer? Feel free to PM me your name & account number & I can check your current marketing preference.

    Thanks,
    Pamela

Hi Pamela, no sorry I'm not with eir anymore, upping the cost of my package so I could get "free" sports was just too much for me! But that's for another thread :-)
I posted on this forum as it's the eir-phonebook. Let me know if I should take it up wiht my current provider.

Edit - just a quick check, it looks like my preference didn't follow me as it should have when I changed provider.

    No problem  KAGY
You would need to contact your provider in relation to this and they will amend your preference.

    Thanks,
    Pamela
